Hi!  I´m Bob LaRue and the original member of the LaRue Team.  I retired from the Air Force in 1990 after over 26 years of active duty service.  We spent the last five years at Scott AFB and enjoyed this area so much, we decided to stay. 

I began my Real Estate career in 1994 and was "Rookie of the Year" for the Belleville Area Association of Realtors for 1995.  Having lived in the Metro-East area since 1985, I know it well.  We are members of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the Illinois Association of Realtors® (IAR) and our local Realtor Association of Southwestern Illinois (RASI).  In addition, I´ve also earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer´s Representative) designation.  My hobbies are "sports" (the spectator kind) and working in my yard.

This year (2010) I have again received the honor of being named as a "Five Star: Best in Client Satisfaction Real Estate Agent" which will be published in the April 2010 "St. Louis Magazine!"  I first received this award in 2006 and was also honored last year in 2009.  This recognition was based on survey results received from home purchasers, mortgage and title companies and compiled by Crescendo Business Services.  The criteria used for selection included:  Customer service, Communication, Finding the Right Home, Integrity, Negotiation, Marketing, Market Knowledge, Closing Preparation and Overall Satisfaction.

I´m Alice LaRue, the other half of the Team.  I worked in the St. Louis area for 15 years as a Computer Specialist and Project Manager, but quit the corporate business world to join Bob in Real Estate in 2004. 

I work behind the scenes to maintain our website, create our advertising flyers, take all the photographs and produce our Virtual Tours.   My 26 years as a military wife have given me plenty of insight when it comes to moving and relocating.  And since I have the "technology" background, I also earned my "ePRO" designation in 2005.

In June 2007, I received my Accredited Staging Professional TM Real Estate Agent designation!!  I will now be offering FREE Home Staging consultations to Sellers listing their home for sale with The LaRue Team.
